Dear Sir/Ma’am

The intent of drafting this statement of purpose is to request the Australian High Commission to grant me Visitor VISA until I can apply for Post Study Work VISA, which is only getting delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

My name is Suwash Chapagai, a Nepali resident, currently living in Sydney with my wife. I came all the way here to pursue my master’s degree in Professional Accounting from XXX University, which I have successfully acquired in the month of March. Now in order to obtain a Post Study Work Visa, I am required to appear in PTE Test for which I have applied twice in the month of April i.e. on 01/04/2020 and 29/04/2020, but both the times when the exam was just around the corner, I got notified that the test date has been postponed for an uncertain time period due to this unfortunate COVID-19 outbreak. Thus, for the time being, I covet to acquire a Visitor VISA so that I can further stay here and prepare myself for the PTE test and subsequently obtain a Post Study Work VISA.

Over these years of experience, I have understood the importance, priority, and succession that an individual can get in the workplace because of having international exposure and I found Australia as the ‘Most Reputable Country’ in terms of dispensing high-class education within affordable tuition fees. I admire and respect the country as it sets as a world-class example with its multiculturalism, quality of education, safe-learning, beautiful natural environment, and excellent health care facilities which certainly entice me to gain exposure to Australian Corporate and equip myself with indispensable professional skills to thrive in the work settings when I return to my country.

I would also like to shed light on the fact that I have never misused any privileges or indulged in any unethical activity during my stay in Australia. In addition to that, as I have deep-rooted ties and emotions with my home country along with having an established and thriving lifestyle there, I need to make sure that everything works out for my best and in future also I do not indulge in any activity that can jeopardize mine and my family’s future. For the nonce, I only intend to acquire a Visitor VISA until the PTE exam dates are disclosed and I appear for the same on the scheduled date, thus I request to the Australian High Commission to understand my current circumstances and grant me a Visitor VISA so that I can realize my vocational objectives and gain profuse work experience in Australian work settings before I go back to my country. Having an international degree along with substantial work experience of working in Australia will certainly add on to my achievements and aid me to make leaps of advancements in my career as well when I will go back to my country.

It is only after meticulously assessing and planning about my further stay in Australia that I can confidently claim that I can incur the required expenditure without any possibility of becoming a burden on the Australian government and I assure that I will return to my home country after gaining a couple of years of work experience without violating any of the rules laid by the Australian Government. Additionally, I would also like to state that we are a well-established family in my country of residence with sufficient income and immovable assets to support through my living expenses during my stay in Australia.

I am sure that having an international experience would ensure better employment opportunities, bags of experience, and unquestionably huge respect, once I am back in my home country. It is no surprise that Nepal is developing at a fast pace, thus after having exposure to Australian corporate, I plan to return to my homeland and apply for the jobs of higher echelon at (mention a few companies you wish to work with), as a (mention your choice of echelon). Since Nepal is witnessing huge investments from around the globe, an international degree in Professional Accounting coupled with international work experience will open a myriad of opportunities for me and aid me to achieve my niche in life while earning me the desired profitability thus I solicit my application to acquire a Visitor VISA.
