1. Religion:

Prevalent faiths include Hinduism, Taoism, Malay Islam and Buddhism, supplementary to a somewhat dense Christians demographic. Subscribers pay a fixed amount per month to access thousands of designer and fashionable items. The subscribers can select what they wish, wear them, and return to swap for something new, minimising the need to ‘buy-and-throw’.

Not just consumers, but company executives also expressed their desire to see at least half of their products manufactured using ecologically sustainable materials in the next five years, while a whopping 4 of every 5 executives expect a steep plummet in design samples (Singapore Business Review, 2020).
