Good morning all of you. I am _________ _________ currently pursuing my post graduation degree in management from ___________ __________ University. The reflective task will be developed based on the Gibb’s reflective model (Sekarwinahyu et al., 2018). Since the start of this subject I have learned various business environment related theories which has provided me insight about how the business environment impacts upon operational management system of an organisation. I have learnt how leader’s situational control can improve business outcomes in not so facilitating business environment from the Fiedler’s Contingency theory (Kundu & Mondal, 2019).
I have felt that the current course has led me to expand my knowledge which boosted my confidence for working in the field in future. As an aspirant of post graduation in management, I have some professional objectives that will be achieved through following the action plan made such as involving in more internship and improve my management skills that will help me working successfully as a business practitioner.
My concepts regarding business have changed as I have developed more understanding about how the external and internal business environment impacts upon the success of a business. For instance, I have gained better insight about the interrelationship between the external chaos and impacts of those on the internal environment (Janković, Mihajlović & Cvetković, 2016). The understanding of economic theories and laws helped me to understand how a specific economic principle helps a business to satisfy the demand of the market.
As a graduate I have always wished to develop as a highly professional manager with effective leadership skills. As I have developed basic understanding of the business operations and outcomes from my internship and under graduate course, those are easing out the present course of learning. However, in order to develop as a business practitioner understanding business environment and other aspects of business will help in operating as a successful business leader.
Therefore, I want learn more about the leadership tactics and strategic implementation that will help me to motivate my subordinates and provide them an effective business environment with high work efficiency. As the employees are the building blocks of the organizations, it is highly required to keep them satisfied which I aim to achieve through professional effectiveness. In order to gain leadership skills I will also involve in personal and professional skills development programs through online courses on management.
In later life I will implement the skills and competencies developed from leaning experiences in managing situational uncertainty, business risks, employee performance related issues and partnership related issues (Barnhoorn et al., 2019). For instance, experiences I have gathered will be used in analysing the situation faced and using the strategies in actually tailoring the situational factors to make the business environment a stable and profitable one. In order to develop professionally, outside the formal study I will start a small entrepreneurship with a little investment so that I can be accustomed with different business situation and learn how to deal with that situation. Apart from that, online classes on business management, blogging will be followed.
