After a successful execution of the international student arrival plans by Sydney and NSW, Victoria has stepped forward and has endorsed the plan, which was submitted to the Federal Government earlier in October. Students will arrive in two phases with 120 international students returning per week starting mid November. The Victorian Government has received the support from colleges and universities who will cover 5000 AUD for hotel quarantine costs while students will be paying for their flights. As decided earlier, priority will be given to health and medical students who urgently need to return to Australia to complete their practical work. The second phase will most likely start early 2022 with international students returning to continue their studies at TAFE, secondary schools, and other English-language colleges. All students must be fully-vaccinated and submit a proof of vaccination before boarding their flights and will be quarantined at dedicated hotels located in close proximity to the Vic
