The US Universities gear themselves to recover the loss of students' admissions on account of social distancing maintained during the pandemic, COVID-19.

The Universities in the US aim for a strong recovery in having the international student's fraternity back on the campus. Mirka Martel, head of research for evaluation and learning, said that the universities are preparing themselves. There is an anticipation for the recovery to come in phases post-vaccination, following travel guidelines and rules laid out.

The moot question among the universities and students worldwide remains, will the US enrollment in the coming Fall semester bounce back to the usual across all higher education?

An Institute of International Education (IIE) survey has posted some optimistic recovery of students both local and international. It reflected the classroom per cent during the Spring semester to be over 64% in the Baccalaureate classes, and 37% of students turned up for in-course classrooms in the community colleges. A significant increase is anticipated in the Fall semesters ahead, anticipating it better than Spring, said Martel.
