UK TNE Student Enrollment Increases by 43,030

UK TNE or Transnational Education Programs offered by the United Kingdom Universities have seen a growth of 10.6% in student enrollments across various programs. Now the total number of students studying on UK TNE programs at 156 higher education institutions has increased to 453390. This clearly indicates that more UK education providers are participating in these programs than ever before. Eduardo Ramos, head of Transnational Education at UUKi, says that now a majority of universities in the UK offer some form of TNE and are also receiving the on-demand support by the Governments of other nations. Within Asia, China, Malaysia and Srilanka account for highest TNE enrollments with 11%, 10.9%, and 6.8% respectively. In addition to this, the delivery via international campuses has also increased with 25 more providers offering this education. On the other hand, student enrollments in Singapore, Egypt, and Cyprus have dropped as compared to previous year.
