The higher education institutions across Texas try to convince their faculties, staff, and students to get jabbed. The vaccination is the shield against the COVID-19, and as the fall semester is approaching, the universities want every member must be vaccinated properly. It will help them to ensure the safety of the people connected to the university against the pandemic.

Texas A&M International University in Laredo and Texas A&M University in College Station offered the students that if they get vaccinated, they can win free tuition. The scholarship and free parking are offered to the students at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. The staffs have been offered to win tickets to concerts or football if they get vaccinated. Juan Castillo, the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Texas A&M International, said that “we have heard that the health department students from the University’s are lagging in vaccination. The college students think that they are immune against this pandemic which is not true.”

More than 740 universities and colleges in the US have made the vaccination mandatory for the student and staff for the fall semester
