The president of the University Clark Atlanta Dr. George T. French announced that the entire account balance from the spring 2020 semester to the summer 2021 semester will be canceled for all students. This relief is also applied to the alumni.

French said, “The university understands that the past two academic years have been stressful for the students and their family in both emotional and financial way. This pandemic has shown us some hard times and this is why CAU wants to support its students in all ways it can.” He further added “we care about our students and their families and want their path to be lightened up with least of the problems. This is why this decision is being taken to help the students pursue their education and professional goals without any stress.”

This decision was not at all possible without the support of the federal government. They provided the universities with relief funding under the CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.
