The Australian Minister said that amid the snap lockdowns the efforts for student’s pilot plan launch will not be neglected. Australia has started witnessing the COVID-19 cases again. And this is why the lockdown has been extended for the cities like Sydney, Canberra, Darwin, and Melbourne. There is no official time range or timetable created for the pilot scheme to help international students for returning. But still, Alan Tudge said that the efforts will be made in this field and soon the fixed time will be announced.

The education minister at the Australian Financial Review Higher Education Summit said that “a wise plan set for helping the international students to return to Australia has been shared by New South Wales and South Australia. And the plans have also been approved by the chief health officers. But New South Wales is all focused up to handle the current outbreak of pandemic and the lockdown situation.”

“The uptick in the COVID-19 cases can affect the pilot plan for international students but our vaccination rates are continuing to increase. And so the ability to welcome back the students will also strengthen up” said Tudge.
