Queen’s University is planning to resume its in-person studies in September. So the QUIC or the Queen’s University International Centre has introduced a useful app for international students. The app is called the “iCent app” and it is fashioned to help foreign students returning to the campus. It is a travel app including the different information and resources over the pre and post-arrivals procedure of the students. It also includes information about the local transportation, health insurance, and many other activities that will help the foreign students to adjust to the new surroundings.

QUIC posted on Facebook that “Being an international student can be overwhelming. There are numerous things to do and understand when you are in a new place. But we are always there to help you”

The iCent app’s main objective is to simplify the process of gaining information required by the students directly in an accessible way. The app includes quarantine support, public health expectations, airport arrivals, and maps to help the international students. This app will also provide updates about the COVID-19. It will convey the information about the new guidelines of the pandemic about the place.
