Pandemic Relief is Now Open to All International Students in the US

Initially, everyone except the international students was allowed to be a part of the pandemic relief. Now, this exemption has been removed by Miguel Cardona, the secretary of education in the US.

Earlier, only the students who were a part of the federal student aid programs could get support from the government. International students will now receive support for different areas such as food, housing, employment etc. During the pandemic, there were so many international students who could not return to their homes. Thus, this step has helped them a lot. This has been done keeping in mind the requirements of students during the pandemic and after that. While students are enjoying this initiative a lot, there are some who are not acknowledging this step.

Now, with international students being eligible to benefit from pandemic relief funds, the US government is thinking of bringing more initiatives like this for students.
