Australian authorities predict the economy will return to pre-pandemic levels within two years. They anticipate that, by 2024, the number of international student enrollments will return to the standard and desired levels. The Committee for Economic Development of Australia held a meeting in Sydney and have proposed an idea to keep a flat fee for the majority of courses in higher education. Though students will soon begin returning to Australia from December, vice-chancellor, Ian Jacobs, cautioned higher authorities to not put all eggs in one basket. He further added that the universities can educate millions of offshore students through online courses. As per the current conditions, only a few of the enrolled students will receive face-to-face learning while the rest will have to wait for their turn. However, they can still access the resources and lectures online.
