The International Union (IU) partnered with International study students, to initiate a study on the impact of COVID-19 on international students. The panel discussion starts on Sept. 28 on Zoom.

The objectives of the IU remains to stimulate in all countries a public opinion favourable to permanent peace and prosperity for all people.

This panel also aims to address issues that most international students face. Wherein two faculty and two student speakers will be conducting the meeting between 7 to 8 p.m.

According to IU’s Noah Moenning, the event organiser, he saw the need to bring awareness to issues the international students are facing.

Students have shared with Noah how difficult it has been taking exams at 3 a.m. in their home country for reasons like their inability to return home due to travel restrictions, time zone issues or delay in procuring a visa.

The ideas in the meeting remain open to open conversation about how students want to aid and how IU can help.

Moenning hopes for a large attendance so that IU students and professors may assist the campaign for this large demographic of international students facing several issues that remain challenging today.
