The NSW Government has announced the arrival of international students from early December this year. The first flight is scheduled to land on December 6 and will bring in 250 students from 15 countries. As per the Government’s latest announcement, international students will not be required to quarantine themselves. Authorities say that both faculty and students have been waiting for this moment as the universities were closed for more than 20 months due to COVID-19 restrictions. The NSW International Student Arrivals Piot Plan received a green flag from the Federal Government. Post pilot phase of this plan, the country may see more number of students flying into different parts of the country to continue their education and earn their course degrees. According to Stuart Ayres, Deputy Premier, all inbound students will need to take the approval from the Commonwealth Government to travel to Australia.
