HCL launched an extensive 12-month training programme in Vietnam for high-school students that would help them make progression into global IT careers in leading companies. The company has planned to enroll 2600 students who hold a high school graduation certificate or its equivalent to partake in this exclusively-designed programme. Named TeeBee, it was first started in India in 2017, and till now more than 3000 students have participated and successfully completed the training program. HCL Technologies Vice President, Sanjay Gupta, sees immense market potential and talent pool for IT companies in Vietnam. The objective of the program is to foster the growth and development of talented candidates and allow students to learn the sought-after skills to improve their employability in the IT sector. He further added that HCL aims to hire talented students and help them earn financial independence at an early phase of their career.
