According to a plan proposed by the New South Wales Government, more than 500 international students could return to the continuent by the end of December this year. A confirmed report from SBS Punjabi reveals the first batch of Indian students will fly in Sydney airport on December 24. As decided earlier, all inbound students will not be required to quarantine themselves but they must be fully-vaccinated with TGA-recognised vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield Johnson & Johnson, and Sinovac. NSW will welcome the first flight of 250 international students on December 6 and it will include students from Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, South Korea and Canada. The second flight that is scheduled to arrive late december will be the one bringing students from India and South Asia. NSW officials said that due to the pre-departure investigations, it will become difficult to find out the exact number of students on individual flights.
