The past year has been challenging for all of us, especially for international students who are preparing to study abroad for their higher education. All his travel plans were put on hold, and he had to resort to online programs for a while. Although virtual learning has its benefits, at the same time, we know that students miss out on meeting their new friends face-to-face, experiencing a different culture and living the campus life in the country of their dreams.

Here is a list of nations that have opened their borders to welcome international students:

Canada: Canada was one of the first countries to allow the admission of international students around the world.

United Kingdom: The UK government has now allowed the admission of international students for the fall session starting September 2021.

Ireland: The Government of Ireland is now welcoming all travelers from 62 designated countries (see list at www.gov.ie) to disembark in Ireland after completing a mandatory 14-day hotel quarantine.

As part of their COVID-preparedness plan, US institutions are running vaccination campaigns on their campuses to ensure that students are vaccinated. Universities are also running separate vaccination campaigns for international students if they have not been vaccinated before. Students planning to move to the United States must submit their COVID negative report.
