There is good news for all the gamers out there. Battlefield 2042 is releasing on Steam and Epic Game Store on October 22. There have been few major changes made in the gameplay. You can double the number of players per match and ditch the single-player for focusing entirely on the multiplayer mode.

This news is not surprising as both EA and Microsoft have committed recently to releasing games on Steam. You will be able to buy Battlefield 2042 and play it on Steam. But when you launch the EA game from any other client, a mini-origin client will still be popping up on your taskbar. It is annoying but a common concession.

Ubisoft games’ Uplay allows you to login with a Rockstar account. It means that players buying these games from the different stores can easily play together. It is possible as they have signed into EA or Ubisoft or Rockstar’s multiplayer networks and not just Steam.
