Education Providers Offer Alternatives To In-Campus Study Amidst Travel Restrictions

The pandemic was the reason behind education providers cancelling and postponing study programs over the last two years. In response to the same, colleges and universities began offering virtual classes and other alternatives to in-campus teaching so that students can continue to develop their knowledge and skills. Adam Rubin, Director of Education at the University of Buffalo said that these virtual alternatives are still rewarding and students should not perceive them negatively. Virtual study is an ideal option for those who are unable to travel abroad because of financial constraints, immigration complications, or family situations. As compared to on-campus study, it is extremely affordable as students need not have to pay for airfare, accommodation, or other expenses related to housing and travel. However, scholarships can be available from either study option. Moreover, some universities for instance, the University of Iowa, provide remote global internships with international education organisations.
