The government has requested the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and the institutions to prepare a plan for how will the learning continue during the COVID-19 outbreak. Universities and colleges in Ontario have to get ready with the in-person class routine and the activities.

The deputy minister Shelley Tapp said, “we are responsive and careful towards the situation of a pandemic but also optimistic about the education sector to resume the in-person experiences. Tapp also added that it can be anticipated that the in-person classes and on-campus activities will be permitted again this fall. Everything will resume after a year-long pause because of the pandemic. But the universities and colleges will have to follow each guideline of the public health related to the COVID-19.

The government has demanded the institution to be ready with its continuity of education plan by September. It should include all the protocols, emergency guidelines, and other instructions that the university is planning for the fall.
