Student enrollments across various different courses have decreased due to the pandemic. This has impacted the revenue earned from student fees, which is a major component of the total revenue of the education sector. Whereas attending on-campus courses gets expensive each year, this year’s tuition fees are much lower as compared to the historic standards. The course fees for different levels may have increased this year but at the same time, the percentage change has remained lower than those in the previous few years. On the other hand, several colleges and universities across 15 states in the country have kept their fees unchanged this year. The percentage change in tuition fee also depends on the financial aid provided by the Government. For instance, during the Great Recession, the tuition fee spiked due to a decline in Federal Government Aid. Recently, 74.8$ billion has been approved for students by the Government through Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III.
