The University of Virginia and Indiana University have joined a rising list of educational institutions that have made vaccinations a requirement. According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, at least 389 colleges across the nation have needed vaccinations for at minimum some employees affected.
Students, faculty, and staff at Indiana University will be expected to get protected before returning to campus in the fall of 2021, according to the university. The first doses must be received by July 1, and those returning to campus must be completely vaccinated by Aug. 15 or before arriving on campus, including two weeks after the final dose.
