The Australian government is set to take a significant step towards establishing the vaccine passport for international travel. This responsibility is contracted to Accenture, which is a global IT company. They will be making new digital passenger declarations.

These declarations are being made to replace the COVID-19 travel declaration and the incoming passenger cards. It will capture the information that includes the vaccination status of the passenger. It will help in facilitating the international travel scale in Australia. And this establishment is not far. Rather, last week, the Morrison government suggested that it would have the system places within the weeks. And the recognition of the vaccination status for international travel will start soon. It will help in raising the rates of vaccination among the people who wish to travel.

“The system will also allow the Australians to use the MyGov for uploading the vaccination proof. It will happen through the QR codes linked with their passports.” Dan Tehan, the tourism minister of Australia, confirmed it. He further added, “This QR code will be able to show that you are vaccinated even when you travel overseas and require entry to another nation.”
