Come September, and more than 90 per cent of the students and staff at Harvard University has been vaccinated.

The university is also reaching out for vaccination to the other community members that need to be on campus.

It is a cohort attempt to prevent anyone present on the campus from catching the delta variant of the COVID-19, dreaded equally.

The other famous US universities are Lesley University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that claims a 98 percent immunization of its students.

Also, several other universities in Texas like the Texas A&M International University in Laredo and the University of Texas at Austin, have shown high rates of vaccination jab among the students that have entered College and University premises beginning this Fall Semester.

Some universities have offered different incentives to get students and faculty fully vaccinated, from free tuition to gift certificates like the University of Wisconsin (UW) announced a vaccination scholarship of $7,000.

However, the University of Virginia disenrolled several students who failed to show up with their appropriate university’s vaccine requirement.
