This Mentor Code of Conduct defines the professional, ethical, and behavioural standards required of all mentors associated with My Assignment Services (MAS) and related platforms (“Platform”). All mentors are expected to uphold the integrity, reputation, and educational mission of the Platform at all times.

Maintain appropriate mentor–student boundaries
Follow all Platform policies, SOPs, and agreements
Do not engage in misleading, deceptive, or unethical behaviour

Academic Integrity Obligations

Mentors must not:

Write, complete, or submit academic work on behalf of students
Provide submission-ready assignments, essays, or dissertations
Encourage plagiarism, contract cheating, or policy violations
Misrepresent authorship or ownership of academic work

Mentors must:

Provide explanations, frameworks, and feedback only
Clearly state that all material is for learning/reference
Encourage students to write and submit their own work

Communication & Platform Use

Use only authorised Platform communication channels
Maintain a professional tone in all interactions
Respect student confidentiality and privacy
Do not contact students privately without approval
Do not solicit off-platform work or payments
Do not share personal contact details for professional services

Confidentiality & Data Protection

Protect all student and Platform information
Access only data required for service delivery
Avoid downloading or storing student data unnecessarily
Report any suspected data breach immediately
Confidentiality obligations continue even after termination

Conflicts of Interest

Disclose any actual or potential conflicts
Platform may restrict or reassign mentoring engagements if conflicts exist

Prohibited Behaviour

Guaranteeing grades, marks, or outcomes
Making false or misleading claims
Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct
Circumventing Platform safeguards or controls
Ignoring or bypassing academic integrity requirements

Reporting & Escalation

Report student requests for contract cheating
Report repeated pressure for unethical assistance
Report suspected misuse of Platform services
Failure to report may itself be treated as misconduct

Enforcement & Consequences

Immediate suspension or termination
Loss of access to Platform systems
Withholding of pending payments
Legal or regulatory reporting where required
Serious violations may result in permanent removal without notice

By onboarding or continuing as a mentor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Code of Conduct.
